When a builder or remodeler mentions the words “recessed illumination or recessed lighting” for your home or business, you might picture can lights that are mounted into the ceiling. While it is true what recessed LED can lighting has improved significantly over the old incandescent styles, the KLUS definition of recessed lighting means something different. With KLUS recessed LED lighting sytems, no fixtures are visible, the lighting is discrete – yet the space is brilliantly illuminated in a highly functional and decorative way. Our LED extrusions are perfect for illuminating walls, ceilings, hallways, lobbies, conference rooms, and much more.
We’ve recently added three new LED lighting extrusions for recessed illumination.
NISA-PLA is a set of two profiles designed for recessed illumination purposes. It consists of the TENIPLAS mounting strip and ONISA extrusion which is recessed in it. The complete set enables the parallel direction of light to the wall. The TENIPLAS strip is flat and drywall mounted. ONISA Extrusion is mounted on the upper edge of TENIPLAS strip, whose light faces up.

NISA-NI is a cove lighting system which consists of the TENI mounting base and ONISA extrusion. The complete set enables the parallel or perpendicular direction of light to the wall (ONISA extrusion can be fixed in the mounting base in either a parallel or perpendicular fashion). The TENI mounting base is designed for drywall edge mounting. The lower edge of the TENI strip is an extension of the recess, and once sealed, forms a thin aesthetic edge.

KOZUS extrusion can be fixed in slots made in previously fitted drywall using gypsum adhesive (GS 20 CECOL) or mounting adhesive. KOZUS can be used in areas without altering or cutting existing beams/studs as long as a minimum of 5/8″ gypsum has been used in that area.

WERKIN is a cove lighting system that is designed to illuminate monolithic interior ceilings and walls. It can be mounted in many ways: horizontal, vertical or arranged in polygonal figures. WERKIN consists of two extrusions : OWERKIN and TEKIN. The OWERKIN extrusion serves as a LED fixture, whereas the TEKIN extrusion serves as a mounting track.
